A four-year-old dog named Uma is in need of a home. She was previously treated for heartworms and is now healthy. Uma gets along with cats, is potty trained, and answers to her name.

She is described as perfect for anyone, including families or couples, and enjoys sleeping next to her owners. Uma was fostered for two days by Sofi Juarez, who works with the Laredo Animal Protective Society. The organization is hosting adoption events, including one at PetSmart on August 22.

They are also participating in Clear the Shelters throughout August, with events scheduled for August 29 and 30. Further details about Uma and the adoption events are available from the Laredo Animal Protective Society.
