In Laredo, the atmosphere currently has a dry layer above the moist gulf air. This is expected to change as the week comes to a close. The gulf air will start to occupy a larger portion of the atmosphere, allowing lifted air to rise and form taller rain clouds.

This will be aided by the daily sea breeze moving in from the west. A few showers may develop between Friday and Monday, although the conditions for this are marginal and would require favorable circumstances. Further information on the weather forecast is available from KGNS.
